Walking from Ward’s island to Gibraltar point school can be long, but it’s a beautiful scenic route along the bike path through Toronto Islands. If you do plan on walking make sure to dress warmly and bring an umbrella in case of rain.

Cycling is the most ideal way of getting to Gibraltar Point from Wards.
Bicycles can be taken on the ferry! It’s fast and can be a fun bike ride, especially in autumn when all the leaves are changing colour. Also, riding a bike back to the ferry dock at night can also be a spooky treat! This is the recommended mode of transportation for those coming from Ward’s Island or who will want to catch the last Toronto ferry that leaves at 11:45pm.

There will be signs along the path to guide the way.

*NOTE: If you’ve gone past the Light House, you’ve gone too far!
